Why CJ not working for me

Compare to adsense its horrible

I spent lot of time in finding right affiliates from CJ on 2 of my sites but output is zero.
I got 20% CTR with Google adsense at same place but using CJ banners give me 0.0002% CTR and 0$.

What I am doing wrong.
I have selected the best affiltaes available on CJ and try changing them too...

I've found CJ to be a lot of trial and error. Some advertisers perform well, some mediocre, and some not at all. I've at times sent thousands of clicks over big periods of time to advertisers that have not yielded a single commission. It can be painful.

I have a hard time comparing to AdSense because it took me awhile to get accepted, and now I'm still experimenting with it. Right now most of my revenues come from CJ. And yes, CTR for me is often below 0.01. It takes a lot of traffic to make money on that kind of CTR! But for better-targetted ads, I'm seeing higher CTRs. Banner placement, use of text links, these things also have big effects on CTR.

You are not the only one!
I have better results with Tradedoubler for Europe .
But Adsense is better leaving the others far more behind !

Try using text ads - I never managed to get banners to perform, but some text ads do ok.

Yeah that happens a lot. I just always assumed that they were stealing from me ;)

If you're planning to send a decent number of clicks to a merchant, make sure they're tracking sales. If feasible, click through and order the cheapest item they carry - it will be [£/$]20 well spent.
