Can anyone give me a rough idea of the range of Adword click throughs?
Many thanks

I have about 4 different campaigns going with AdWords. They are all fairly general. I haven't done anything with they negative keyword matching and my ads cover about 100 keywords each so they aren't microscopically targeted. I generally get around 1-1.5% CTR. I have heard of other people getting 3-6% and higher. I suppose if I were to take more time and focus everything more I could do that but I am happy with the 1.5%.

Hi i get 3.5% on adword. On overture the exact same ad pulls 10%. Im seriously considering pulling out of adword. They show your add all the way on the right in a little box. So naturally people click the free listings first because thats where they are used to seeing them. Now someone help me figure this out: On adword i get 3.5% and pay $2.43 per click, 2 hits a day. On overture i get 10% response and pay .05cents per click. My competition is the same company on both. How can we be $2.50 on google and .05 cents on overture??? And get 3 times more hits on overture? I think about it everyday and i always come up with the idea that somehow im being scammed by someone. Because it just doesnt make sense. pat

My current campaigns are pulling about 11%. I would think 0-15% would be a reasonable range to anticipate. The bottom half of that for starters, the upper half once you get the hang of Adwords.

You can be in complete control of this situation. Just pause your ad and move on.
