How does Yahoo treat Overture results? I understand that Overture feeds results to Yahoo yet I am unable to spot them. Results on AltaVista etc are fairly obvious, am I missing something?

Overture powers the Yahoo US, so only the US users will see the ads. If you have a google toolbar and do a search and then press "page info" and "translate" you will see the overture results because you will then go trough Google´s proxy in the US.

As stated above, Yahoo.com only shows Overture.com results to people from the US. Yahoo.com will show Overture.co.uk to people from the UK and Espotting results if they use the UK version of Yahoo. Confusing!

You can see Overture results, outside US, logging on Yahoo from [anonymizer.com...]

Thanks for the feedback.
So if my clients website is targeting mainly European clients then ideally they should be listed in one of the European Overtures. What happens then to their listings on HotBot.com, AltaVista.com etc?

HotBot in Europe? Better ask someone else about that!
Altavista - Again, Overture UK supplies Altavista.co.uk, but not the .com, that's Overture.com results. I don't think it's filtered by IP on AV.

I have also noticed that the results don't appear on MSN, I suppose that this is because of a similar arrangement as Yahoo?
