At an advertiser lunch in Chicago last week, they showed screen shots of the advertiser center with similar look and feel. The screen includes this tidbit: "Auto Bidding.... Overture's new bidding method that will save you time and ensure you never overpay for your clicks." They were cagey about exactly what this was going to do and when it would be available...

They got flash going on now too. I've been getting a plethora of snail mail from these guys trying to promote their services. heh im already signed up and usen them too :)

What does it mean that Overture is using flash? I am still under the impression that MOST folks are using 56K, or atleast we should make site taking into account the 56K modem rates.

What do you folks think.

I like it, looks more professional. But why use Flash?
