Looksmart now move all paid for inclusion to small business listing with 300$ per URL funding (15$ per month). Then no listing shown to any Engine (MSN, Alta, LS) when no fund.

The problem :-
1. Can LS forced all listing that PAY FOR INCLUSION to this MODEL with no permission from the owner?

2. Cost 0.15$ per click with all keyword? No control with the spam word, nagative word. So, we all now pay for JUNK word.

3. Any Ecommerce site need to pay for click from Iwon, Juno?

How the consumer protected from this idiot idea?

Hi, kleang, and welcome!

This whole thing is still up in the air. When LookSmart did us all the favor of "upgrading us," they neglected to give us details. We are also discussing this move in [webmasterworld.com...]

1. Can LS forced all listing that PAY FOR INCLUSION to this MODEL with no permission from the owner?

They cannot charge your credit card without your permission, no. That's illegal, and even they aren't that ballsy! They can, however, remove your listing from their advertising entity -- which they are calling a directory -- unless you pay. Unethical? YMTC.

2. Cost 0.15$ per click with all keyword? No control with the spam word, nagative word. So, we all now pay for JUNK word.

As far as I can tell, that is entirely correct.

3. Any Ecommerce site need to pay for click from Iwon, Juno?

Again, as far as I can tell, yes. Since they are charging per click from their other partner site, MSN, I would assume that they're doing it from their others as well.
