Welcome hasson

Since a PPC ad directory will not, in itself, bring you the traffic you must look at all the Asian Portal sites to determine which has results from a PPC. Read the referral string and check out any PPC that might show.

The bigger the portal the more traffic you might expect.

Keep your eye open for Overture to enter the Japan market.

Please report back here if you find any good ones.

As of today there aren't any PPC sites in the Japanese market...but I'd be really interested to see what would happen if GoTo made a run on this market. (got any inside sources Mike? ;))

LookSmart has a lot of engines locked up here. Their advertising claims that they reach over 70% of the Japanese SEs/Internet population. They're not PPC, but you've certainly got to pay. Express Submit at LookSmart in Japan currently runs ¥32,000.

NO, but Jobs at Overture [overture.com] lists:

*International Client Service/Content Specialist (Fluent in Japanese and English)
*International QA Engineer (Japanese Language Skills Required)
*Product Manager, International Products - Japan

Nice catch Mike!

It looks like they're going to run Customer Service out of California: 5AM-2PM shift. There certainly are a lot of out of work web people in Japan that they could tap into...
It will be interesting to see what they come up with. If they're still recruiting for these basic positions the Japanese market penetration may still be a ways off.

Man, it pays to read this board.

It will be interesting to see which JP portals will use Overture results. yahoo.co.jp, MSN.co.jp jp.aol, lycos.co.jp seem likely since the .com versions all have them, but what about goo.ne.jp, infoseek.co.jp, isize.com, etc?

Regardless, I'm really hoping to see a JP version of the keyword tool.
