well, i see no PR on the ah-ha website, but i'm seeing ah-ha powered links along the right hand side of the AltaVista search results.
[altavista.com...]

very rudimentary implementation - goes nicely with AV's butt-ugly look these days. :P

decent catch for ah-ha, though i doubt it will amount to much traffic. pretty similar to google adwords and directhit links, which have less than stunning traffic potential.

anyway, thats a heads up.

Here is a copy of their press release that
was given to us for our Update Newsletter
last week:

www.payperclickanalyst.com/ah-ha-toplinks.htm

(I would have put a link to the PR on their
site, but I do not believe they have it
posted)

I don't see a single mention of AV in that press release from Ah-ha. Strange.

That _is_ the program Av is using from ah-ha. It's not a Altavista specific program.

you'd figure ah-ha would make a big deal about it, though; it's got to be a massive increase in their circulation...

the lack of PR makes me suspect its a test by AV...

I inquired about this and was told "We are also working with some top search sites (i.e. AltaVista & AT&T) to fill some of their ad space that might otherwise go empty. The inventory we have available on these sites is subject to change depending on what they have available. "

They also claim to have other deals with large search sites in the making.

The Ah-Ha logo links show up on the right hand side of the page and they only show up for some of the keywords. Most of the major keywords still have ads instead of the logo links at the moment.
