Special Note: Overture is placing public service links at the top of the listings at NO cost to the charities.

This is currently displayed prominently on the search pages of the GOverTOre website (what were they thinking? *sigh*).

So what do people think of this -- is it just a stunt to get keyword bidders to pay more? Call me synical ... or has Overture suddenly found a heart?

The net effect is that a third place entry won't be displayed on search results - thus meaning that its value is decreased?

Either way is it right?

Also a prize to the first person to find it in real SERPs :)

Winner will receive a years supply of good advice from Webmaster World :)

Could it be that these $50 bids are actually the free to charity ones?
