Why does Sprinks have $100 spending minimum?

I have joined Sprinks couple of weeks ago and now I know why is there such minimum in place. I would have dropped out after spending first $40 because most of the traffic is illegitimate. Sometimes , someone will keep clicking like 10 times in 10 minutes for your most expensive keyword and you will get charged for all those clicks. I guess some people get paid to keep clicking.
I have send them an email a week ago regarding this and of course no answer yet.

On the other hand with goto and findwhat I have positive experience even though goto is getting really expensive lately.

I experimented with Sprinks once and wasn't very impressed the whole experience, like yourself I had some very click odd thoughts on high bids with nothing to show, needless to say I never got a reply to any of my e-mails, so I now just stick with GoTo

But lets face it with GoTo taking so much of the market with many of main SE’s what type of life expectancy would you give Sprinks maybe 2 years top.

I just want to communicate this way with people from Sprinks. They don't answer my emails but I guess someone from their firm is visiting this forum. The main problem is their relationship with SE www.freeonline.com .
I'm getting tons of traffic from China for my most expensive keywords. These people appear to be paid clickers.

I too blew a bunch of money on Sprinks with not much to show for it. The dollars fly out but the traffic doesn't really follow it up. It just didn't appear legit in my logs. No response to emails from them, just reminders that my account balance is low, long after it ran out.

The same for me. How can I delete my account from there?

Last night I reduced my bids on the terms that were abused and guess what: 14 hours after the bids were reduced Sprinks is still showing my old bids even though at my account manager it is showing my new bids.

Hi Gabriella & welcome to WmW

If your account has run out of funds just leave it, or are you trying to make a point with Sprinks, if so, I really think deleting your account with them would be "water of a ducks back"

We have had direct conversation with them about these issues and they have assured us that they are committed to work through any questionable traffic with the advertiser directly.

If you feel you have been victim to this unqualified traffic you can request a traffic analysis for your Sprinks.com account by sending an email to sprinks@about.com with your account username and the dates you have in question.
