I was doing some browsing at 7search.com, since I'm considering getting into the ppc market. Anyway, I came across a link to their partner site, trafficranking.com, which boasts to show the traffic of the top sites in the world. [
7search.com...] shows the supposed top 100 sites, ranked by unique visitors. Oddly, their figures contrast starkly with other measures I have seen, but that's not such a big deal. What really confused me were a few sites that just didn't seem to belong. For instance, they claim the #7 most popular site in the world is megacoastalfishing.com? The site counter on that site says something like 20,000 visitors total. #10 is akamai.net, which appears to be a dead url. Anyone else noticed this, or have any clue what this is about? Just curious....
