Keyword insertion confusion

In Adwords, if I want to show the keyword as the Ad Title, I use {Keyword:Alternative Text}

If the keyword is too long, it just shows whatever you have in Alternative Text.

But in Yahoo, I cannot understand their guidelines. They have {Keyword:Some Text} but also alternative text.

Anyone tell me how I can show the keyword if not too long, otherwise the phrase "Shorter Keyword text"?

Thanks,

Jon

Title: Come see our {KEYWORD:Shorter keyword} widgets

Where length of title less than 40
->"Come see our KEYWORD text widgets" ELSE
->"Come see our Shorter keyword widgets"

simples :)

Ok, so if I do this... {Keyword:Cheap Loans}

...the following keywords would get this...

1. kw: Cheap Auto Loans, Ad Title is Cheap Auto Loans

2. kw: I am looking for a cheap auto loan, Ad Title is Cheap Loans

Is that right?

Or you click on the keyword in the adgroup it will show you how the insertion looks in the different ads.

Plus you can custom override the actual insertion.

So you could override if the search was "I am looking for a cheap auto loan"

to: Looking For Cheap Auto Loans
