I decided to pull the money out from many of international accounts I had with Yahoo!
So I asked to transfer money to my U.S. account, but they could not do it so I had to ask from each of those (accounts) separately for a refund.
OK I said, so I sent an email through the interface to each of those. And they refunded the money.
And then they charge me again as the balance was ZERO!
Aarrghhhhh... what the heck!
So now I have to go through it again (Yes, I turned accounts OFF this time and I will ask in each of these emails specifically if that would be sufficient to prevent automatic charge.
Now we're at the point that should be useful to other people:
How do you turn OFF automatic charge in Yahoo Paid Search?
I noticed that some accounts without activity went just fine without charge occurring, while some others have experienced that "boomerang".
Refund, charge, refund, charge, refund, charge, tin, tin, tin...
And yes, I will suffer the unfriendly exchange rate every time.
