Where's the Editor Tool

Isn't it about time yahoo offered us their version of the adwords editor. It's a great tool for us who don't have the programming skills to make and API.
They've had plenty of time to go through adwords editor so give it up!

I have talked with a few engineers and VPs about this tool... DEMANDING they make one for advertisers. it would be an easy tool that would ultimately help ramp up spend since more advertisters can quickly pump in keywords.

I believe they are working on something hopefully we can test it by end of Q3

Yahoo! Search Marketing for a survey conducted by survey.mindwaveresearch.com for the yahoo editor its requirement for but still no clu for the editor as I am desperataly waiting for it.

Our platinum specialist says most likely 1st Q 09 but doesn't think it will have current features of the adwords editor, what a surprise

Things I really want from Yahoo Search Advertising:

1. External Editor ;)

2. Ability to separate clients from Master accounts

3. Match types

4. Teach Google about the multiple logins feature (the only thing Yahoo does right)

5. Better reports ... I mean, really? Have you seen those pathetic things?

I have been screaming for this stuff for years. Like many of us, I started with Overture advertising before I started with Google. I have easily $75k/mo I could be spending with Yahoo on behalf of clients TOMORROW if I had an EASY way to port the hundreds of campaigns with thousands of keywords in. Probably more.

I have unlimited budget, unlimited client interest - the one limit I have is *time* and that's where Yahoo needs to help me. Figure out a way to do that (external editor would be a huge help) and it's win-win.

Although I have used the Yahoo import excel tool to edit and upload campaigns in masses to Yahoo with success. It is not very easy, but it is doable..

i'd add interface speed, and the ability to separate into yahoo, search partners, content partners.

I feel your pain nutmeg (and everyone else).

I've spoken to YSM 'managers' on multiple occasions and explained that I have an unlimited budget to spend with them, if they invest $200,000 and hire a decent programmer to add some basic functionality to YSM (the only thing I really NEED is proper reporting) I'd send an extra $100,000 p/month their way........ they just say they can't do it, plain and simple. What kind of business sense is that? All they need to do is signup a Google Adwords account and they can find a perfect plan of how to satisfy customers. Everytime I think about it, it makes me so angry.... I've probably spent 80 hours over the past 3 years on the phone trying to get basic issues sorted with those monkeys, finding basic code malfunctions that they hadn't even noticed.... they just don't listen, they don't think, and they don't seem to care about their own business.
