search tools

I am not a memeber of yahoo search marketing but I used to be able to use the search tools to see how many people had searched for "blue widgets" in any one month!

How can I still do this?

You can use [inventory.overture.com...] but Yahoo hasn't updated it since January 07 and won't be either. If your product or topic isn't seasonal etc.. then this can still be a somewhat decent tool. (You may have to refresh the page its kinda buggy)

It hasn't worked for me the last two days. I don't even care that it's not updated since January, I use it weekly. But that it's no longer working at all is a problem, hopefully that's just temporary.

Keyword Tool still down, and Yahoo/Overture hasn't responded to my emails asking about it yet.

It appears dead. I knew this day would come and the sad thing is I doubt Yahoo has anything even close to being comparable to their old tool. Here's what others are saying - [seroundtable.com...]

YSM finally wrote me back.

Its obvious that it's inactivity has nothing to do with the amount of use, normally the tool just times out when that happens. They either pulled the blug, or it simply doesn't work anymore, I'm just surprised that they aren't willing to fess up to either.

It's official: a follow up email I received from YSM indicated that the tool has been discontinued. It was fun while it lasted.

Greetings. Don't know about everyone, but I tried Overture KW tool today and it worked. Still displays January search totals, but it was active.

That's odd, it wasn't working for a while and YSM told me that they disabled it. In any case, I'm glad its back up, if at least temporarily.
