I spend $X a day for four lousy clicks. For the same $X I get nearly 40 clicks a day from Google. The ads are identical. I am running the exact same text on both networks...

For my money, I have seen my natural search results with Yahoo fall from #2 to somewhere on the second page! The slide in natural results did not begin until I started with Yahoo's Marketing program. I guess I am not paying as much as some of the "big name" sites which have practically ZERO content on the subject people are actually searching for. I guess content does not matter to Yahoo, it's all about "the big names".

I have asked Yahoo for optimization help a couple times. All they do is point me to a few features on their site and say have at it...

When I asked Google for optimization help they actually optimized my ads for me and I saw better results immediately. Hey Yahoo, want to be competitive? Then treat your customers as well as your competition is treating them!

I can understand your frustration but one thing to keep in mind is the fact that just because an ad performs well on one network duplicating those efforts from Google to MSN or Yahoo don't always pan out the same. Typically your users behavior tends to be different from Search Engine to Search Engine. I would test out different ad copy just to see if you notice any differences; it doesn't sound like it could hurt at this point.
