Can we import our AdWords listings?

In the help files there are instructions for transferring AdWords listings into YSM.

Yet when you go to the Campaign tab, the "Import" tab indicated in the help files is nowhere to be found.

Has anyone been able to do this or is this feature not available yet?

Yes, you have to have "gold" status on your account. The tool works awesome, converts your Adwords campaigns flawlessly.

The functionality initially had some weird issues. They MAY have gotten the kinks worked out. I had to tweak my spreadsheets quite a bit to get them working.

Can I apply for a "gold" account , so I can get the import feature?

YSM never anserws my emails. Does anybody know how to contact them?

If you are either starting a brand new account in Yahoo Panama, or are upgrading a small-ish account - You will not be given access to the Bulk Upload feature. Only accounts labeled as Gold or Platinum will be given that access.

You can't "request" Gold status. You have to earn it through account activity and spend. So, if you don't already have Gold status, you'll have to edit your account the ole fashioned way.

SonicReducer is correct, bulk upload functionality is usually extended only to gold-tiered (or higher) accounts. However, we offer a one time courtesy of submitting your keywords to us. Simply send a copy of the .csv export of your keywords from your campaigns with other ad networks to our support center, which we will convert and upload the data into the account; or, send a copy of the file that you have converted, and we will upload that data into the account for you.

I do believe the one time offer is correct if you are a non gold tier customer. I have had this done for me before in an effort to build up my account so that I could become a gold level customer. I suggest you take advantage of this offer if you want to make a big push and add hundreds of kw's

I noticed when I uploaded my Adwords campaigns into YSM that if I had negative keywords in my AdWords campaign then I would get an error when uploading my file. I then removed the negative keywords and was able to upload my campaigns after I exported them using AdWords Editor. That actually worked very nicely for me and saved me WEEKS of work. I am planning from now on to simply maintain my AdWords campaigns and import them to YSM to make updates there. My only complaint is that some keywords get lost in the process, but not that many.

This is directly from my Yahoo CSR:

"It is not possible to add the Import option into your other account. Once it is spending at least $500.00 a month for three consecutive months it will qualify for Gold status"

The comment has been made that the YSM Import utility works flawlessly. I disagree. It only kind of worked if I stripped out my many negative keywords. After that I seem to be unable to add negative keywords to any of my imported campaigns. Such is not the case if I create a campaign from scratch. Without a vigorous method to add negative keywords to my YSM campaigns my ROI will go in the toilet. Anyone know of a fix for this?

Could it have something to do with their limits?
Max 50 negative keywords per adgroup
Max 1000 keywords per adgroup

No, I don't think so. The negative keyword feature seems to be completely disabled for a campaign that was imported. No problem with a campaign started from scratch. Beginning to smell like a bug to me.
