Goto and Direct Hit have announced [la.internet.com] a two year deal. Goto will place paid results on DirectHit.

So now, if you don't pay to get into GoTo, you will slowly lose whatever clickthrough information you had at Direct Hit. Very clever of them. It is basically blackmail. If you don't pay GoTo, you won't rank *anywhere*.

Just a clarification on something I noticed. They are showing the GoTo Top 3 on every page. Not all the GoTo listings, just the same three over and over again above the regular listings.
