Altering URLs Question

Hello,

When I alter my URLs in Yahoo PPC, I notice that the new URL is not added in real time. I'm guessing that the ads must go through re-approval in case I've linked to a page that does not comply. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Yep- every URL change must be approved.

We've had lots of problems with trying to update URLs to add a tracking ID, but having the change rejected, even though it goes to the exact same page as before that WAS approved! So the new link is rejected, but the old link still works, even though it's the same page. We've talked with about half a dozen people there and they even agreed the landing pages are identical, yet they still refuse to approve the new URL. (I could understand if they then rejected the old URl as well, but they let it continue to run.)

Very stupid policy on their part- they ended up losing thousands of advertising dollars every month from us.
