Doesn't seem to prevent ads from showing on negatives?

Anybody else have problems with this? You put a keyword on broad match, put in keyword and account negatives but your ad doesn't stop showing for the negatives you put in?
Not normally a big deal but there seem to be limited if any trademark filters in the matching algo so your ad starts to show up on competitors brand name searches.

I just discovered this on Google. A word i put in negative keyword list actually made a conversion
