Bid tool loads erratically.

Sometimes I get results but othertimes just "error"

I try to go down my list of keywords accessing the Bid Tool and checking to see how much I need to bid in order to go into "X" position.

I assume the position is only temporary per the bid price but it keeps me in the running with a decent postion. However, the stinkin' tool frequently displays an error message with no results. At one point yesterday I had to reload it 8 times before I got any results.

Has anyone any insight into how to force this thing to load properly more frequently? I have the problem with both IE 6.0 and Firefox.

Is this a problem with my browser setting(s) or is this just one more problem that Overture/YSM doesn't care about fixing? Is there an alternate method of determining bid and postions?

It is a YSM problem. It happens a lot to me and can be very frustrating! In addition sometimes the positions on the bid tool and in the DTC don't match up beacuse their servers aren't in sync.

They asked for, and I sent, a screen shot of such a page. I received a message back that they had forwarded the information to tech but were honest enough to tell me they had no idea if or when it would ever be corrected.
