I had them investigate suspicious activity for another client the week before and they did find a high number of suspicious (aka fraudulent clicks).
Well Yahoo sent me an email saying my recent request to investigate for click fraud did not turn up any click fraud, however - they were issuing me a credit for a certain amount as gesture of goodwill. Hmmm, interesting to just GIVE me a credit when they found no foul play :)
I think it's because I am spending maybe 10% the amount I used to spend with Yahoo just 3 months ago. I think they are just trying to 'win' me back as an advertiser. What do you think?
It would be great if Yahoo gave click/cost updates during the day, but that's never going to happen.
I am very proactive in my anti click fraud campaign, and I am constantly sending Yahoo/Overture log files and sources of information to prove my points.
To date, they have not admitted 1 sources of click fraud in there system, however because of their robin hood type goodwill, I seem to get credited back the money I am asking for.
Go figure. I just feel sorry for the poor schmoes that dont have a clue.

I am still waiting on them to prove to me that I logged into my account and removed the budget :(. They can't because I didn't. Their logs have no record of me loggin in when that budget was removed.
