Conversions Off?

I just started with YSM this month. I noticed that for one of my keywords I have had 2 clicks and 4 conversions.

How is this possible?

Yahoo conversion tracking is not that accurate. And when it's wrong, it's likely to inflate your conversions - shocking I know :)

I’ve checked with our analytics group and there doesn’t appear to be any issues with our conversion counter which makes me wonder if this could be a situation where your tags were mis-installed. I'd suggest you check in with customer support on this or feel free to private email me with your contact information to resolve the issue.

It double counts conversions sometimes. Try and match up Yahoo's figures with your own sales/sign ups.

Your telling me! Yahoo is showing 12 Conversion for the 5th and we only had around half of that, it really sucks!

We have had a similar problem for months now, and this is on a large scale site. I've seen some incredible stats from YSM - 1 click = 41 conversions! Thats a 4100% conversion rate yeeehhhaaaar! :0)
To be fair, multiple conversions are achievable (and expected) for this site, but still 4100% thats just too good to be true.
Having cross referenced with our own tracking stats for a few months it was obvious that the number of clicks being counted was about right but the number of conversions was consistently +50%
No explanations from YSM yet though, we were told to check our tracking code snippet had been inserted correctly, which we did, and it was - makes no sense really, the clicks are tracking alright afterall!?
