Has anyone had 'Excluded Words Added' or 'Zero Search' come up as reasons why search terms were declined?

I have just had a couple turned down and they definitely had searches last month....well during May now....and these were suggested through the Overture DTC.

What do they mean by 'Excluded Words Added'? All of the search terms are relevant to the products.

A couple more phrases were declined so I have asked through the support center about this.

I've seen 'zero search' a few times. Usually, it occurs when someone dumps a 100k Google list on them with lots of keywords which are redundant by Overture's matching.

I'd be interested in hearing what 'excluded words added' is - haven't heard of that one before.

OK - got a reply. Some can't be re-submitted because of 'zero search'.....even though they were suggested through the DTC...

Some have been re-submitted by Overture...will have to see if they get rejected again...

If you see people bidding on these terms via the bid tool, then you can make a case to Overture about it and usually you'll get these words included in your account.

OK - I didn't think of that eWhisper - good idea! :)

I think the problem is that the Keyword Assistant data has just changed to June and these words were not searched for during that time. I often want the most targeted keywords as they are cheap and convert well!

Yep, operating on June data now.
