Yahoo Search Marketing Ambassador Certification

Received an interesting phone call this eve from a 'surveyor', who wanted to talk to one of Google AdWords Professionals'.

Survey was quite a few questions, but mostly about what features we'd like to see in a Yahoo certification, etc and what we like / dislike about the AdWords certs.

It appears that Yahoo will move into the certification world in the next 6 months. Wonder which conference they'll announce it at (Can we tease them w/ WebmasterWorld Vegas? - they need to top the Rain Nightclub outing last year somehow...)

Nice e. However, ambassador? Am I the only one who thinks that sounds just a wee bit hoity and almost silly? "I'm an ambassador for Yahoo search marketing solutions." LOL.

I agree. "Viscount of Search Marketing" would be more humble.

Yahoo's already got a ton of high-end abassadorships [searchmarketing.yahoo.com], so I guess this is a logical progression.
