Add Funds or Budget On?

Is it worth changing the budgeting options for older accounts from Add Funds to Budget On?

Has anyone tried it and had the budget smoothed throughout a whole month?

Anyone tried changing from one budgeting system to another?

I used to top it up myself, via credit card, once it had run out but decided to let them do the automatic non-stop traffic thing and I noticed no interruptions of service (until now that is - see my other post)
