Overture Updates?

I can see that Overture did some overhauling in their system.

There is now a refresh button in the "Account Status" box. Does this mean that reporting is now Real Time? Or better than it used to be?

The billing reports are all giving errors still. Hmm

The Over log-in page is plastered with warnings this morning about their bugs.

Well I meant worst QA team from a company making millions of $$$$. I'd expect poor QA from most companies but not Overture; although they never seem to improve anything.

The, already slow, system is now twice as slow and starts becoming unworkable.

Seems not only G has problems with the system...

At Ov. seems to be a speed problem, whereas G has difficulties with the algos.

This morning when I try to access our "manage bids" page I get the following message:

Can't see any of our listings.

Overture have done wonders with the size of their web pages. They've reduced them from unwieldy 2.5mb pages to sleek 350kb ones. All they had to do was get rid of some superfluous info, like category names, bid prices, account balance etc.. And that's only if it stops thinking that it's February 5th, 2004.

Nice that they display the error messages in five languages though. It's nice to know that they're thinking of us :p

It is back to "normal" again and even seems to be quicker on some actions. Reports suck though. If you want an excel sheet you get a script error.

Why are the top 5 bids out of line?
Why has the update bid button been removed from the bottom of the screen?

The system is a lot quicker though.

Is the overture reports section working at all? I can't get it to output any sort of report. My accounts just gone offline and I think I just might leave it that way.

Overture is hit or miss today for everyone I've spoken to. Shocker... Google is working though.

These things were also happening in Google, but a couple of weeks ago!

Still, I am very worried about Overture being slower. And they don't have as many customers as Google.
Probably this is another reason why they keep the MinBid so high (more than double) compared to Google!

Also, the matching options are changing again to remove some low bid keywords. I will see how many get 'merged' into ones with higher bids!

Is it possible for a company to continuously have their system get worse over the months?

Stats now missing for 29th & 30th March.

Bid tool not working all the time.

Can't tell what the bids are anyway because of the 'bid change delay'.

Since the upgrade(?) I've been able to login on the first try. Very rare for me. Hope that change stays.

They need to get their act together, we couldn't pull client reports, Overture could only pull them sporadically at times last week. There are campaigns that need to be managed, can't login, bid changes are extremely slooooooooooooooooooow. Multiple accounts under the same login seem to ge the financials crossed up between the different accounts. It's a friggin' mess.

Great! Two 1st of April dates and two 31st March dates?

What is going on at Overture today? I can't pull any reports off as I don't even know when one month's figures really end and when the next month starts.

All I can say is that I am lucky that I work in-house (mostly). Otherwise my clients would be demanding reports...

OvertureRep - can we sort this situation out ASAP?

I will be informing support AND including a copy of this URL for the support staff.

Looking forward to better communications and some answers from Overture/Yahoo.

OK well I have spoken to a rep and they are going to pass the details onto the technical team.

In the meantime I have run a report but there are no totals! :(

CTR figures are all wrong - e.g. 0.033
instead of 3.3%.

I don't see why I need to go and reformat half of the spreadsheet to make it look correct! :(
