If anyone uses this feature, would you please share your thoughts if this feature is helpful?

Looks really great in demos, doesn't hold up in real use.

I found it to be a pain, and dealing with anything but Overture listings, was hit or miss. Until they clean it up a bit, I'd pass. Much better 3rd party software on the market.

i've got the tags up, haven't started using it yet. i'm having second thoughts on whether it's going to be the right decision for us or not. could end up costing us a lot of money in the long run. i'll let you know how it goes once we get deep into it (search optimizer that is)

Been using the search optimizer for about 6-7 months now. Overall it’s a very good program, but it does have many down falls. First off the interface is a little hard to navigate, it can often take a long amount time to pull up reports and from time to time there can be issues with non-overture data (mainly adwords). Overture data always comes in well, and when the other sites work (90% of the time) it does workout to be a very useful tool. I would only suggest it if you have no other way to track keyword activity, and if you have a larger number of keywords (500+).

I used it for a month and gave up. Maybe they'll have it done right by summer, but not now.

...and for those of you who need help managing other forms of ad spend:

1)Clear Channel has recently come out with "Billboard Optimizer". Don't worry about valuing billboard buys appropriately - CC will do it for you.

2)ABC has come out with "Superbowl Ad Management"

3)New York Times is soon releasing a product to take the burden of pricing newspaper buys off the hands of the advertiser.

In my experience, most included features are 2nd rate compared to some of the more popular 3rd party solutions.

Overture is no exception. It would actually make a good case on how the 3rd party can be so much better than the included functions.
