Budgeting?

What are these scammers doing?

I switched my account to have a daily budget similar to AdWords and now they are saying my account will always automatically be deducted a certain amount of money each month, and that there is NO way to go to a pre-payment plan.

So, I figure if I want to stop using their service, I have to wait till near the end of my budget and then delete all my keywords so nothing can be clicked on, and give them some free dollars. Am I correct?

And where is their "Help center"? Do they even have an e-mail address?

And, as I didn't specify in my original post, they don't charge you AFTER you get clicks... if you budget for one month at a certain amount per day, they immediately charge you and put that in your account.

After this, no more Overture. I can't take shady tactics.

Decious, if you scroll to the bottom of any control center page you will see a footer that says:
"Support Center
© 2004 Overture Services Inc. All Rights Reserved."

The text "support center" will link to Overtures support.

Also please keep in mind that Overture is a much different animal than AdWords and there is not an industry standard as far as billing goes, although from my experience, most PPC companies make you pay for the clicks or deposit funds into your account before you receive clicks.

Decius, it seems that Overture have decided that all new accounts are set, by default, to auto-billing. If you don't like that option presumably you need to contact them through the DTC. But you can only do that once the account goes live. Yup, shady as Hell.

"The text "support center" will link to Overtures support...."

And I bet the fact that that link is in size 2 type is just an oversight on Overtures part :/
