How many characters in the title & description

Overture say the maximum number of characters for the title is 40, and the description 190.

If your ad appears at the top of the page (in the wide ads) this is fine. But if it appears down one side in a small box, are the title and description truncated?

If so to how many characters, and is it the same everywhere the ad is shown, i.e yahoo, msn, content sites, etc.?

I can't remember off hand, but it gives the smaller size on the page where you edit ads. It also has a preview feature that shows the different formats. Anything after the cutoff is turnicated, so you want the most important info up front.
