Check ur accounts - Overture is overcharging

after sudden increase in clicks we found errrors in billing summaries

You may want to check your overture accounts. A sudden increase in daily click charges caught our attention. We then checked the listings, nothing out of the ordinary here. But we found under 'new term', a search term we never bid for a daily charge for USD 140! Then we checked our UK accounts. Same error. We then checked further back and more of the same, but with lower amounts.

How to check:

Go to reports, select 'search term summary', select 'overture results' here you find all your terms. Here is where we found the keyword combination 'new term'. Select 'match type view'. This keyword combination does not show in the general listing pages, nor it shows in MSN etc.. but the terms shows clicks and impressions!

We contacted overture already - so far new news on refunds.

Could be an overture dbase error, but scary! Anyone else experiencing this?

It the number one most clicked term in one account.:) Sure hope they catch it and do something about it.
