Conjoint word dilemma

I want it as one word but Ov makes it two

I have a word pair similar to website/web site that performs better as a combined word because more people seem to join words these days. Yet, if I try to add it as a single word, Ov immediately turns the term into the two words (which I already use).

Yet if I search for the two variations via MSN, I see a different total count and different sponsored results.

Is there a solution to this?

Check if there are different rankings and bid amounts for them. If so you should be able to bid on both terms. Call Overture up and explain the situation.
