Any of you pros ever run into this situation with one of your (or your client) sites? Any feasible workaround?
Thanks
I agree, no one should be able to manipulate the SERP just because they have different domains with the same goal.
But regardless of the client being the same for both sites or not, IMO 2 totally different sites/domains for different info/products on a similar topic should be able to compete on the same keyword.
There are many one-word terms that apply to different sites that have totally different missions and content.
I should have clarified that what I meant by "feasible" would also be ethical, and acceptable to goto.
I know at one stage that I had 2 different sites owned by the same person with separate GoTo accounts bidding on the same term.
I can't remember the term or even whether both sites are still advertising on that term, though.
I don't really see how GoTo would be able to track a situation like this, anyway.
