I am thinking about signing up for Overture.
I dont know whether or not to sign up for fast track or self serve.
Is the money spent on fast track worth it?
Or should i go with the "free" self serve?

**also self serve says there is a $50.00 deposit required. Does this fee go toward my clicks?

I have also read that joining self serve, decreases your chance of getting your ad aproved by 65%

Fast Track is Automatic Aproval

Which do you think is better?

Thank you!

Last of all, do you think overture is as good as adwords?

I've set up a lot of Overture campaigns, and always gone self-serve. It's usually approved in a few days. I suppose if you absolutely need it set up ASAP you can pay for the Fast-Track, but most advertisers probably can wait a few days.

I would be surprised if using Fast Track affects your chances of getting the ads approved, though.

On Google vs. Overture: we get better results with Google (be sure to opt out of the content-match, though). If you're doing a decent-sized campaign and want to reach most users, sign up for both.

To add to what has already been said, although maybe this thread should be in the overture forum -

The $50 initial credit on self-serve is towards you click costs.

I find Overture converts better but Google brings more traffic. Generally with Overture you need to be in the top three ads to get reaonable traffic. With Google there is more traffic for lower ranking ads.

But try your ads on both, if they both turn a profit then continue with both.

I've always used the self serve and normally get bids live within 2/3 days

Why opt out of content matching? Why not just bid seperately and lower your content matching bid?
