Hi,

Just started with Overture this month and I have a question. I am bidding on a keyword with one other site (A site that I am an affiliate of) and I have a click index of one bar (I believe my click thru rate is 0.7%). I read in the help that this keyword may be in trouble. I do get a lot of clicks from this keyword and was wondering since there are only two ads being displayed (mine and the Official Site) will I get kicked even though there are only two ads (It's not like Overture can get money from other ads below me on this keyword).

Thanks for any replies

If you are getting a .7% CTR on a highly targeted keyword, I would suggest reworking your ad. that seems a bit low. Overture will remove your listing if it is considered a low index and I dont think they base it on who else is advertising under that keyword. Their position is they want to deliver ads that searchers are looking for. Your low CTR tells them that your ad is not deemed relevant to the people searching on that phrase. They also want your money, so its a two edge sword for them. Again, I think that you could get better results with some ad tweaking. good Luck.
