Am I paying too much?

My competitor pays 20 cents for their keyword and I am paying 30 cents. Is there any way for me to automatically only pay 21 cents? Am I really wasting 10 cents per click?

Set your bids to autobidding. Look in the CP for "Your Cost" that is your actual paid CPC. With that bidding type, your bid is autolowered to $0.01 above the next listing.

While eWhisper is certainly correct, remember that although the minimum bid is 10 cents you don't have to bid in 10 cent increments. So if you just want to set your bid to 21 cents, you can do that.

I believe bids are automatically set to auto-bidding so you are probably already paying $0.21/click you just don't realize it.

But as suggested make sure autobidding is on...Once it is on overture will automatically raise your bid to one cent above the listing above you until the bid prices hits your maximum bid of $0.30.
