I've read many marketing success stories about how some affiliate marketers earn between $10,000 - $20,000 a month by advertising their websites on PPCs.
But what does this really mean?
Are we talking about people who routinely spend $10,000 to make $10,000? Do you really need a huge budget to make that kind of profit? Just curious.

Probably. Or at least enough of branding for return customers, but that seems unlikely. But, since they probably bring in so much business, they get more like a 10% - 30% commission. Unlike the normal 1.5% - 15% that standard affs. get. The only saying still reins true. It takes money to make money. In the long run, they probably make a heck of a lot of money. But, there is also a huge risk that they are managing. Hypothetically, they can go for broke, and make nothing per month. Or, at least close to it.
