My boss signed up to the service after I mentioned it to a colleague and started to enter the keywords and titles and description but he was worried by the time limit (I wasn't there so i don't know what he is on about) so he just copied and pasted the same phrase in most of them.
Can I now go back and change these details?

I would definately suggest making changes if you are using the same ad for many different KWs.
When you make changes, the old creative runs until the changes have been approved or denied. OV will send you an email when they have reviewed the changes and let you know which changes were accepted/denied.
