Hello,

I run a directory (Vortal) with lot of content and i allow free listings to that dorectory of a particular interest.

I was thinking of having seperate PPC listings from search engines like Overture apart from paid listings. NO, i don't mean to mix up free and PPC listings, they'll be seperately listed.

Towrads that, i wanted to read some info on their site, but couldn't find any. How do i go about it.

Do they give feeds for a particular topic of interest, if that topic is popular enough or do they just give general feeds?

Thank you for any help.

Cheers

We just looked at this for a site, but the traffic was not going to be high enough for Overture to entertain... 100,000 daily uniques per month! so we have gone with another (UK) PPC supplier who is better suited to the client base using the site anyway.

Their not partnering with small sites... So tell them you have a million, or use Goopgle Adsense.

So, for sites with pretty less traffic, there is no way to get the Overture feeds on our sites?

Thank you

>feed

At one time, OV had an affiliate arrangement paying a flat ppc. That program was discontinued some time ago, but there are some publishers grandfathered in so you still might run across it. With google's introduction of adsense, I've been expecting OV to resurrect this program.

rcjordan - Yes, i did happen to read such a option sometime back, but wasn't ready to signup then. But now, when i went over to their site to know more, it's missing.

Hopefully, they'll come up with something like AdSense. i am particularly interested in targeted PPC links from such a program and not just general feeds.

Is there any OVguy like googleguy on these forums...or may be YahooGuy now?!

Receptional - u mentioned that you happent o signup with another PPC engine for such feeds. I'd be interested to hear what kind of revenues is it generating from them?

Cheers
