Not sure if this topic has been raised previous but I have just had the unpleasant experience of having listings removed from Overture UK because of the following:

"We identified an uncommon issue with this listing.
The following are editor's notes for your review:

We have noticed that you are affiliated with Google. Overture UK does not allow pay-per-click search engines or their affiliates to advertise in our listings. This includes affiliates who use a Google search box, provide Google search results or search engine optimisers (SEOs) who promote Google over other search engines. As a result of this guideline, we are unable to accept any of your search terms."

A related thread. [webmasterworld.com...]

Were these existing listings or new ones? Were the pages with Adsense or without?

1. They were existing listings. We had requested a small copy change.

2. Pages were without ad sense.

So what prompted that message?

I wonder whether this means OV is now starting to scour the web looking for Adsense partners who spend with OV? If so that could mean an awful lot of websites and revenue.
