hi,
I have a good rank in google, yahoo and aol (for chicago computer repair, chicago pc repair etc) but I wander why I don't get listed in msn.
Like many others I've tried to find the secret link to get listed without money, but I haven't find it yet:)
I have tried inktomi too, with no results...you have to pay...
I have decided to pay ... but now I have another dilemma: Who?
-bcentral
-looksmart
-ouverture
For the beginning I want to see my link in results and after that maybe I will do a pay per click think...I don't know...
But how I get my page in the results and which one is the best answer for not so many money?:)
Thanks for you time.
Any suggestion is welcome.

Best way to get listed in MSN is to pay Overture. ;) You end up at the top of the stack, and you can get listed for the keywords most relevant to your business.

We list in both OV and LS. We get a nice return from both.

Inktomi will find you eventually (can take a few months) if you have a reasonable number of backlinks. Nearly all of the sites I manage appear in MSN, and Ink spiders most of them regularly for free.

I don't think overture has anything to do with MSN unless it is one of the top 25,000 searched terms. Actually you can deal directly with MSN.

OV provides the sponsored listings on MSN. The ones at the top of the results page... If it's only for the top 25,000 searches, that's still a pretty heafty chunk.

Good question

MSN ranks as my #2 referrer behind of course Google.

Some search words & phrases (1-10) in MSN are better ranked than google. Some don't rank in top 10 in Google at all.
I have never submitted to MSN or paid for Overture placement, even though some keys show up in overture.

I have been assuming MSN just sends its little bot out.

Any ideas, ya know what that assume thing does.

My top results are Yahoo then Google then MSN. I advertise just as much on all of them. People looking for my services seem to be more of a Yahoo crowd.
