I don't understand what's up with the Overture Editorial review. I submit an ad and it is approved. I submit a revision to the destination URL and I am denied due to content? What's going on?

I haven't changed the site, I haven't changed the title or description on the ad. It seems like the reviews have NO consistancy. I really like Overture and the results I get, but it's almost not worth the hastle to edit my listings. Anyone else having this problem?

It's a common problem. It used to be more common. Just resubmit the changes. It is a pain, but other than complaining to them, there is not much you can do...

Every alteration has to be subjected to the editorial relevancy rules of the day. These change almost like the weather.

If you don't want to do this then don't change the URL or use a tracking tool to change the underlying URL. Obviously Overture etc.. have the right to check the relevancy of the page you use, and if you did do something questionable then you'll likely find your campaigns shut down, but it an help you not to have to go back to the queue if the page is still relevant to the keyword.

Not withstanding the above, you should do some general housekeeping yourself to check the relevancy of ads over time, it may be that re-writing the creative or changing the landing page gives you better results anyway.
