Platinum Overture service a joke?

I'm assuming there are quite a few members here that are getting the platinum service with overture. we just wrapped up our first month with their "platinum service" and it's been terrible.

attention from our personal rep has been awful. not easy to get ahold of, claims they have been having an "email problem" for a couple weeks, etc.

they reverted to old urls which no longer function for half a day until I caught it. I am receiving a credit for those at least.

even getting listings changed was easier manually or through any 3rd party software.

so far i am not impressed. everything is getting fixed now, will see if they can pull it together. just thought i'd let you know, i don't think you're missing much if you're not at this level. ;)

We've had fantastic service from the Platinum team. I hope things start looking up for you! I wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to make up for the mistakes - they always have for us, by throwing in extra services or extra-special attention when things have gone awry. :)

When we first qualified for Platinum service, OV was great at helping us out and our rep did a good job.

Now, I'm lucky if I can get ahold of him, and it's easier for me to just manage the account without OV involved. The only time I bother to talk to them these days is if I want to pause a campaign for a period of time.

It almost seems like OV kept getting new Platinum Advertisers, but didn't bother to hire more people to cover the new advertisers, thus leaving the old reps swamped.

We go through a sales rep who has generally been really good. They've offered the Ambassador program but things seem to be A-OK without that. Are we missing anything by not using that program?

Is that just a dedicated hand holding tpye person, or agency terms and commissions? Benefits of being an "amassador"?

We've sent 3 e-mails to the one on the site and not heard back zip, so maybe someone in WebmasterWorld could let me know if I send a 4th one, or make a call, or just settle not to bother?

I'm platinum and have a great rep and great response. What's the Ambassador Program? Something to do with bringing in new accounts to Overture?

I know there is a diamond level (120K spend/yr=personal rep). That may be what webdiversity is referring to. Unless there is something above this. I have heard rumored that you may also get a discount on you CPC after a certain spend.

Second paragraph down mentions an ambassador program if you are "a web design/SEO/SEM" and have aggregated spend of $10k a month.

Talk of free custom sales proposals etc..

I'm getting these services now and I do spend over $10K per month, but nobody ever mentioned 'Ambassador' or told me I was at a higher/diamond level. I thought all platinum accounts got this. :)
