Strange keyword mapping

It's got me on the LCI list

I have a keyword on the Low Click Index list that isn't really the keyword I want to advertise on. The problem is that the keyword I want to advertise on is mapped to this. Basically it is a brand name that looks like "WidgEts". It is mapped to "Wid Gets", which happens to be a semi-famous athlete’s name. I wasn't too worried before b/c I figured that if someone was looking for the person Wid Gets, they wouldn't click on my ad (could not confuse the two) but when someone typed in WidgEts, they would automatically get the Wid Gets results and see my ad.

Now with the LCI, that phrase is on my Low list. It's a very profitable word but with the searches diluted, the CTR is less than stellar.

Anyway, I suppose where this is leading is, does OV unmap keyword phrases? Has anyone ever heard of them doing this?

Definately. Send a request through customer support and they will have a look at it (or contact your account manager).

If they are totally unrelated then you should be OK. But there are different shades of gray (or is it grey).
