Let's say it was "mount fuji" (which it wasn't).
The response read like this
4567 mount fuji
234 mount picture fuji
211 mount climb fuji
183 mount information fuji
163 mount hiking fuji
...and so on, with the additional word coming between "mount" and "fuji".
Now those don't strike me as logical search strings. I can see people searching for "mount fuji picture" or "climb mount fuji" but not for the terms in the order listed above.
Can anyone explain why this happens? What (if anything) does it mean?
Since I was looking for ideas for a domain name, what lessons do I derive from the above list? IOW, if I want to put up a site about climbing Mount Fuji, should I take a hint from Overture and call it mount-climb-fuji.com or the more logical climb-mount-fuji.com?
4567 fuji mount
234 fuji mount picture
211 climb fuji mount
183 fuji information mount
163 fuji hiking mount
I have never seen a reason why it does this, but it doesn't adversly affect your results on OV or G, if you are using broad match. It becomes annoying when you are using OV search sugg for exact match on G since it will affect you.
It also means that people are not looking for the item in that order. You should use wordtracker for looking up how many people search for a term in a certain order.
