I did some research on the minimum bid prices for each market now Overture supports. Here is the list (from the lowest to the highest, equivalent to USD):
For me, the UK, Korea and Japan market is out of reach.

Japan- Compared to the .05 google adwords charges, overture is definitely high. Google tried it at 1.00+ for a while then dropped down to the current minimum.

Google Japan started AdWords out at ¥50 per click minimum if I recall. When were they over $1?
