Overture's partners : per click

Does Overture charge you when someone on AltaVista clicks through?

I have a general question about the Overture service... say my bid is $10 a click through Overture and that puts me in the top 3. That gets me in the AltaVista listings and others. When AltaVista searchers find my site and click through to it, am I charged the same as if it was from the Overture service itself? Or are all those partner clicks free?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld - the cost is the same, no matter where the click happens - as long as it's through Overture.
