I have been coming here for quite a bit and see that you people really know these programs and I have learned a lot from you. I am in charge of programs at a large online retailer and have almost 2 years experience to date. My question is I am thinking about doing this full-time and contact companies to outsource/start online marketing alltogether thru me. Does anyone else think there's a huge market out there for freelancer's to do this? I am in NYC. Anyone doing this?
Thanks
Welcome to Webmaster World!
I think there is always space in a market for freelance people that add value.
If you think you can do that then definately there is space.
Certainly here in the UK I think enough people have been banging on about internet marketing being the most cost effective form of marketing there is and finally the message is starting to be believed.
There are a lot more column inches devoted to the medium in the UK than ever, admittedly there are still a bunch of journos who are way behind the times but at least they are writing about it.
There are a number of people very successful consulting on the basis that you mention in the UK, so NYC would be a bigger and more market in my opinion.
I am sure you won't regret it!
