I've always heard horror stories of people getting shafted by certain PPCs, and after 2 years of using 6 different PPCs, it happened to me when I signed up with Kanoodle.

The only reason I signed up with them in the first place was to take advantage of cheap $.01 clicks. After signing up I realized that they recently initiated a $.05 minimum (they don't tell you that before you give them your deposit). Where does a sub-par PPC like Kanoodle get off having a minimum?

So I submitted over 1000 phrases all at the minimum $.05 bid. A couple days later, my initial deposit of $50 was gone and my average click-thru cost me $1! Shocked, I checked out my bids and some bids were set at $3. After calling customer service, they said I signed up for their "Network Placement Program" when I submitted the phrases. I do not recall signing up for any such program, so be VERY CAREFUL submitting terms.

The big problem here is, if you sign up for this Network Placement Program, they don't tell you what the bids will be! Does anyone feel good about submitting on words when you don't know if the cost will be $5 or $.05?

THey did credit my account, but this really made them by far my least favorite PPC. Don't let their new professional look fool you.

Their Network Partner Program is rediculous. If you have accounts at other partner ppc's you end up bidding against yourself.
