When i raise my adwords to 1.15 or higher, i see that the adwords with highest Clickthru's go in the 'premium ad' position.
Now, that's alright with me, but what price will they charge me for a click on this position?

Will they calculate the same price as it would be if i were on #1 in ad-words on the right(assuming the have the same clickthrug)?

And also on this position i understand the Clickthru is much higher, so will that have effect on the cost per click?(ie lower price than #1 adwords because of higher clickthrug?)

It would be a real consideration for me to do that for keywords that have no adwords at this time, since then i would be chargeded .05 per click but receive more clicks since then the ad will shot on the premium spot?

Does this sound logical?

Yes, I believe it is the SAME price, as if you were #1 on the right hand side.

I have been moved to the premium spot when I get to a certain clickthru percent. We have never gone up to 1.00 on any bid (not much comp. lucky me.) but we routinely get the premium spot at the top for our more popular ads.

I have noticed though, that if I make a change to an ad, I get dropped back down to the normal spots until that version of the ad gets a certain percentage of the clicks.
