AOL and GoTo tracking challenge

I have a client who is in a bidding war at GoTo. Bids are really escalating now that AOL and Netscape are including the top GoTo listings on their search engines. SO as the expense goes up, it's important to know if the extra traffic is worth the extra bucks.

Here's the challenge. The client already has a good AOL listing. Can I tell from my logs if an AOL clickthrough came from AOL's imported listing from GoTo or the main AOL listing? I'm getting a little crazy trying to figure this out.

Just looking at the paid listing on AOL, it looks like they use a redirect that says search.aol.com/redir.adp? appname=GOTO&query=blahblahblah.

This appears to be different than the traditional AOL referrer log.

Could you point the GoTo listing at a separate page?

I have a client with a similar situation. He asked GoTo to add a flag to his click thrus and now sees "/?source=goto/index.htm" in his logs. I'm not sure how much resistance they offered but he's not a huge account.
